Through Net Impact social impact symposium, we heard from Deanna Henry (purchasing and supplier diversity manager at Barilla America), Nick Rojas ( MBA at Ross with knowledge in project management), and Alexander Wolff (Sports Illustrated waited and author of NYT notable book, Big Game, Small World & Former ferris professor of Journalism at Princeton University)

Detroit Career Trek Winter 2023

In Spring of 2023, our Net Impact members took a trip to Rebel Nell, a sustainable jewelry company. We learned how they take metal and reuse it to make jewelry. Following, we went to the Detroit tigers game!

Gerry Anderson Speaker Event Fall 2022

On October 26, 2022, we hosted Gerry Anderson, former Chairman and CEO of DTE Energy, for a dialogue about jumping into the fray of unsustainable industries to make positive change. Gerry’s speech inspired business students to leverage their passion for environmentalism to solve real problems, and aimed to show students how to face complex, global issues head on. Facilitating change is not easy, but as Gerry explained, it is necessary for business leaders to take initiative in the climate movement to strive for a better future.
